FLORIDA 2012!

We took a week long trip to Naples, FL to visit Patrick's parents, Jim and Sandy over the last week in February. What a great week it was!!! This trip was pretty special because it was the first vacation that the kids (well, mainly Sophia) were super excited for! They both truly enjoyed it to the fullest!
We were all very excited to see Jim and Sandy again...we had not seen them since November!

Sophia's favorite part was swimming everyday!

Gavin peeking into the pool for the first time...

Daddy helping Sophia swim! Both Gavin and Sophia just loved being in the water and surprised us at how brave they were:)

Papa Jim showing Gavin how to use this water missile...he sure loved shooting Daddy with it!

Daddy helping Gav swim...

Papa Jim and little Gav warming up after being in the pool.

Sophia and her Nana Sandy with the pretty flowers that they picked:) Sophia has really missed Sandy since she has been in Florida and so this week was no surprise....she pretty much didn't leave Sandy's side!

Mama swimming with the kids.

Mother and Daughter.

Cute Gav warming up.

A relaxing evening with a glass of wine and looking out onto the pool kept warm by the heat of the fire....just perfect.

Gavin hanging out with Papa....he is definitely Papa's boy.

Enjoying breakfast oudside on a beautiful morning.

Gav & Daddy ready to go for another swim.

In the tube all by himself....I am not too sure if he is okay with it by the look on his face:)

My little fish....

Little cutie.

Brother & Sister.

Soph was sure independent in the water as long as she had some type of floating device to use.

Love this one!

Sophia is such a good big sister to Gavin! Here she is pulling him around the pool:)

Sandy & Jim watching the kids swim.

We saw lots of little geckos on their lanai. The kids loved looking at them but Millie loved them even more!

Patrick soaking up some sun.

Soph doing some coloring.

This was the first year that we have been there while an alligator was in the pond right in back of their house. It was sooo cool to see! I think the alligator was getting a bit too fond of all of us visitors there and started to come a bit too close for comfort. He would sit on shore right in back of their house! Yikes!

Much more on the rest of our trip to come!
