Late August we took a trip to the Wisconsin Dells (1st time for the kids and myself) with the Berger side of the family. What a fun family trip that was! I love this first picture of Gavin and actually think it would be a great picture for an ad for the Dells....his reaction just says it all!
We all stayed in a cabin at the Wilderness Resort and it could not have been more perfect for us all. We spent tons of times at the water parks, lazed around in the sun and had such wonderful family time and adventures.

Sophia just loved the water slides and had no fear whatsoever. We were so proud of her! She is sure a little go-getter!

Gavin loved the kiddie pools with the splash pads the most. He was definitely more reserved about the water slides but surprised us all by going down the ones that you can sit on a 2 person tube and go down with an adult. Those ones he went on over and over and over....

Just the 4 of us did a little exploring around the resort that 1st evening. Here the kids are next to some ducks...there were always quite a few of them just outside the Wilderness Resort's biggest waterpark.
That is the waterpark we are going to conquer tomorrow:)

Sophia LOVED the wave pool! She wanted to stay in there all day! It actually was quite fun but can get quite violent with wave after wave. She got quite good at jumping and swimming over each wave....she definitely likes to get a little thrill....I am not sure if that is a good thing:(

The arcade was also a big hit for the kids, oh yeah, and for Patrick and Jeff too:) They were quite proud of their skills after winning a huge ball for each of the 4 kiddos. Here is Patrick, Sophia and Gavin after Patrick won Sophia a red ball. You can see Gavin is a bit bummed here because he does not yet have a ball.
But he does now! Daddy won another ball for little G! Yeah!
