 Had to do a funny face one as well!

 The kids got haircuts this past week.  It is only their second time having one done at a salon because I usually do it myself at home.  This time, since we have no room to do that or much of anything else in our rental townhouse, we had to go out and have it done.  Sophia was pretty excited to have her hair cut...

 Gavin was not as excited....he just looks thrilled doesn't he?!?

 Way back at the beginning of the month, my parents were here to celebrate Gavin's birthday.  Here they are with Soph and Gav one evening.

 After church the next day....doing some book puzzles together.

1st Football Game

A couple weeks back we took the kids to their 1st football game.  We went to watch Chaska Highschool against Shakopee Highschool.  The kids just loved it!  It sure was a beautiful fall evening to be at a football game:)

A Few More From Gavin's Birthday...

Loves cars, superheros, trucks, trains, legos and many other toys. 

Plays really well on his own and with other kids.

Loves to ride his bike and be on his scooter.

Loves to be outdoors and play lots of different sports, including tennis and catch.

Loves his family!

Can write his name on his own.

Doesn't really take a nap anymore:(

Is very excited to a big brother:)

Is getting to be a better eater but is still kind of picky.

Loves to cuddle, wrestle and is quite the talker and storyteller.

Is such a sweet, silly, smart and totally lovable little guy!

Gavin's 4 Year Birthday Party

This year we decided to have Gavin's birthday party at a park since we are renting a townhouse for a few months while our new house is being built.  We had the party at Round Lake Park in Eden Prairie on Sep. 7th.  It turned out to be a hot but beautiful day!  The whole situation really could not have turned out better!  We had one very happy and excited 4 yr. old and that is all that matters!
