In early October we took a weekend trip up north to the the hunting cabin. It ended being quite a cold weekend and in fact snowed. As a side note, earlier that week back in Eagan I was wearing a sundress and the kids were wearing shorts....fast forward a few days to the cabin up north...we are all wearing winter coats, boots and the kids are even wearing their snow pants.....only in MN right?!?
We really did have a great time with lots of good family fun!
This picture is of Daddy with the kids on the 4 wheeler (one of their favorite things to do at the cabin:)

We were all outside and couldn't find G for a second and this is how we found him! His little body looks so adorable on the big 4 wheeler....he sure likes that thing!

This is a thank you note that Sophia left for Papa Jim made out of birch bark...I think it is one of coolest thing she has ever made:)

We had a lovely weekend up at the cabin and are already looking forward to next year....maybe next year it won't be sooo cold!
