On January 2, 2016, Sophia turned 8 yrs. old! I can't believe that it has been that long since we brought our baby girl home from the hospital...how time flies.
We are so proud of the beautiful young lady that she had become. Sophia is a wonderful daughter, sister, student and gymnast. She is so talented in so many ways and is a hard worker. She is doing great in school, loves to read, LOVES gymnastics and practices it constantly, loves to do art projects and play with her brothers and friends. Sophia has such a kind and thoughtful heart. We could not be more blessed to have her in our lives and to be her parents.
On her birthday we had a celebration with family; my parents, Lane and Mindy and Jeff and Susie and family at our house.
Here is Soph with her gifts.
The bday girl and her cake...notice the matching tiaras...on the cake and her head:) That was her own idea:)
The 8yr. old with her magic 8 ball.
All the Volesky's came out to dinner that evening with us to celebrate. Here is the shy bday girl as we are singing her "Happy Birthday"
A couple weeks later....we had a bday party with all of her friends at our house. Here she is ready to open gifts...
Soph and most of the girls.
Sophia's gymnastics cake.
What silly girls!
Here the girls are showing off their craft project that we did...they decorated the letter of their first name with decorative tape...they turned out super cute (with some help from Patrick and I).
A close up of the girls and their letters.
Sophia had a wonderful birthday and 2 great parties! Such a lucky girl!
