Our little man turned 2 yrs. old on November 21st. Gosh, how can my baby be that old already??
It was so cute because he knew that the day was special and loved that we were having a party for him:)
Excited to open his gifts!
He actually really liked opening gifts this year!
I love how he has his sucker hanging out of his mouth as he is opening his gift:)
So Grey's favorite thing ever is anything that has to do with basketball...basketball hoops, basketballs & basketball cards. For a 2 yr. old it is quite amazing how much he loves (maybe a bit obsessed) basketball. He points out all basketball hoops that he can, plays with his little basketball hoop most of the day, wants us to draw basketball hoops and balls over and over and over and loves to look at basketball pics on our phones. Yes, most kids love balls....but this is extreme.
So....knowing what Grey loves the most....I decided to have a basketball party...and oh boy was he excited about that! And that boy was quite excited about his basketball cake!
Too cute! I just love how his cake turned out!
Oh yummy!
Fun with family!
My parents were in town and then Uncle Jeff and Aunt Susie and the kids came over for the party. Uncle Lane and Aunt Mindy came over later as well as my Uncle Keith, Tami and cousin, Chloe.
The happy Birthday boy!
The kids.
Cousin Hattie.
He also loved his basketball balloon!
Greyson had such a great bday!
Here are some little tidbits about Greyson at 2 yrs. of age:
1. Grey is the happiest kid we know. He is such a smiley and happy little guy that just exudes cheer into everyone that is near him....what a blessing he is.
2. He loves basketball!
3. He also loves big trucks, his stuffed animals, playing with his big sister and brother and reading books.
4. Favorite foods: cucumbers and dip, pizza, cereal, tomatoes and dessert ("zurt"-in Grey's words)
5. He is a Mama's boy:)
6. He loves to take baths and just water in general...has no fear.
7. Grey copies his big brother in everything he does....good and bad.
Grey brings out the best in all of us...he brings out our sweet side, goofy side and makes us all show our love a little more. I see sides of Sophia and Gavin that I would have never seen if he wasn't in our lives....I am so thankful for that and am reminded everyday why he was meant to be the "baby" in our family.
